Fabric origin

My fabric is natural Linen Union (60% Linen and 40% Cotton) and is woven in the UK in Lancashire, the traditional centre for textile manufacturing in the UK.

Linen is a natural product, which has a beautiful texture, often including “slubs”, or small knots, in the length of the fabric. This has to be expected when buying a linen product and is part of its charm, rather than a fault with the fabric! Linen union is a heavier weight yarn, making it particularly suitable for blinds, curtains, light upholstery and soft furnishings.

About colour

It is always advisable to request a sample of fabric to ensure the colour is as desired. Different computer screens can show colours differently, depending on their settings, and digital colour representation will always be slightly different to the real object – although every effort is made to get the colour as accurate as possible online.

Because of the nature of the natural fabric, colours can vary very slightly from batch to batch. If you require a very specific match, please do get in touch.

As fabric is printed to order, bespoke colourways can be offered for an additional charge of £30. It is advisable that a printed sample of your colourway is produced, so please allow the time and additional cost for this.

Printed to order

Your fabric is printed to order and typically takes 10-15 working days to arrive with you. Printing to order reduces waste, which is better for the environment, and enables me to bring you more designs and colourways. As your fabric is printed to order, I am unable to accept returns if you change your mind. Returns will of course be accepted for faulty fabric (which excludes inconsistencies as a result of the nature of natural fabrics e.g. linen slubs).
